Apple Xserve
The venerable XServe is now off of Apple’s menu … discontinued. We’ve got 2 running our XSan network.
G-Technology G-Speed FC XL
The “FC” is for Fibre channel, the “XL” is for extra large. That’s just what this is, BIG + FAST drives. The FC-XLs make up the back bone of our SAN network, they are configured in RAID 5, with a failover drive in each LUN or node. We’re approaching about 100 TB of network storage, and just keep gobbling it up.
G-Technology G-Speed eS
These little 8TB bundles of joy house all of our offsite storage. We also use a couple of the 4TB versions [Set at RAID 0] for our daily backups on the server.

Apple MacBook Pro 15.4 Retina Display
The 15s serve as our primary location computers, the road warrior, and the vid warrior. We’ve got them running the i7 Quadcore, 8GB of RAM and the Retina Display.

G-Technology Various HD
We have scores, maybe even hundreds of various G-Tech drives we use for nearly everything. Mini drives for clients, RAIDs for location, G-Drives for out Time Machine Backups, and G-Safes for nightly backups. They are everywhere around the studio.
